CHAPEL HILL—A total of 54 student-athletes from North Carolina High School Athletic Association member schools were named Performance of the Week Award recipients throughout the 2019-2020 school year.
This weekly award was designed to recognize outstanding accomplishments by student-athletes nominated by media representatives and school administrators spanning from August 19th through March 14th. Weekly recipients were recognized on the NCHSAA Website and social media pages.
Each week throughout the school year, a selection committee chose one male and one female athlete from submitted nominations based upon their respective performances in the prior week.
