Indoor Track State Championships

The following information is provided so that all coaches and participants know when the awards will be given out.  Please note that if an athlete gets “lost,” we will proceed without them.  We will not wait on athletes.

If there is a protest or disqualification, we will present awards as soon as possible.

Awards Schedule:

• Field Events: This will be given as soon as the event has been completed.
  • The head event official and the Field Event Referee will escort the athletes to the Awards Stand Marshall at the awards stand.
  • The Awards Marshall will contact the Finish Line Coordinator, Timer, and Announcer. 
  • The next heat on the track will be temporarily delayed
  • The awards should not take more than 90 seconds and the entire process should not take more than 5 minutes.
  • If an athlete is participating in another field event, the referee will let the event official know. This will not affect their “Check-out/Check-in” time.

• Running Events: Awards will be given after the next running event on the schedule.  An Awards Marshall will escort the medalists to the awards stand as soon as they finish the race.

Men’s 3200 Meter Relay: After the Men’s 3200 Meter Relay there will be a break in the schedule before the 55 Hurdles semi-finals

• Women’s 55 Meter Hurdle: After the Men’s 55 Meter Hurdles

Men’s 55-Meter Hurdles: After the Women’s 55-Meter Dash

• Women’s 55-Meter Dash: After Men’s 55-Meter Dash

Men’s 55 Meter Dash: After Women’s 800 Meter Relay 1^st Heat

• Women’s 800 Meter Relay: After Men’s 800 Meter Relay 1^st Heat

Men’s 800 Meter Relay: After the Women’s 1600 Meter Run 1^st Heat
