NCHSAA Announces Spring Championship Sites and Times

CHAPEL HILL – The North Carolina High School Athletic Association is proud to stage the 2026 Spring Sports Championships at premier venues across the state.

Men’s Tennis

Individual
May 8–9

  • 5A & 6A: Cary Tennis Park
  • 1A/2A: North Main Athletic Complex (formerly Ting Park), Holly Springs
  • 3A & 4A: Burlington Tennis Center
  • 7A & 8A: Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center

Dual Team
May 15–16

  • Location: Burlington Tennis Center
  • Match schedules will be announced at a later date.
  • Burlington first hosted the Men’s Dual Team Championships in 2000 and has served as a regular championship site since.

Men’s Golf

May 11–12

Championships will be held at four sites across the state:

  • 1A & 2A: Gates Four Golf & Country Club — Fayetteville
  • 3A & 4A: Longleaf Golf & Family Club — Southern Pines
  • 5A & 6A: Sapona Golf Club — Lexington
  • 7A & 8A: Pinehurst No. 8 — Pinehurst

Outdoor Track & Field

May 13–16

  • Location: Marcus T. Johnson Track, North Carolina A&T State University (Greensboro)
  • Note: This is a change from the originally scheduled site.

Championship Schedule by Classification:

  • May 13: 2A and 4A
  • May 14: 1A and 3A
  • May 15: 5A and 7A
  • May 16: 6A and 8A

Baseball and Softball

May 27–30

Softball:

  • Duke University
  • University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Baseball:

  • Burlington Athletic Stadium
  • North Main Athletic Complex

Classification assignments by site will be announced at a later date.


Women’s Soccer

May 28–30

  • Location: Durham County Memorial Stadium

Match Times:

  • May 28: 3:30 p.m. | 7:00 p.m.
  • May 29: 1:00 p.m. | 4:30 p.m. | 7:30 p.m.
  • May 30: 11:00 a.m. | 2:30 p.m. | 6:00 p.m.

Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse

May 29–30

  • Location: Moretz Stadium, Lenoir‑Rhyne University

Game Times:

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. | 1:00 p.m.

Friday: 11:00 a.m. | 2:00 p.m. | 5:00 p.m. | 8:00 p.m.
