West Forsyth Names Bullard To Baseball Post

WINSTON-SALEM—West Forsyth High School has named Brad Bullard as its new baseball coach, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Bullard, age 29, will replace Randy Pope, who retired from teaching and coaching at the end of the 2013 season. Pope was Bullard’s high school coach.

Bullard graduated from West Forsyth in 2002 and was the center fielder on the team that made it to the NCHSAA state 4-A championship series. He went on to Belmont Abbey College and played baseball there, but an injury forced him to have surgery and he could not continue playing.  He transferred to UNC Charlotte and graduated from there in 2006.

The new varsity head coach has been an assistant at West Forsyth and has been at the school for the last six years.
