WEDDINGTON—Almost exactly one year ago, Stephanie Watts of Weddington achieved only the second quadruple-double recorded by a North Carolina High School Athletic Association female basketball player.

The achievement was actually highlighted on the NCHSAA web site on Wednesday in its This Day In History feature.

Watts did it again, this time on Tuesday night against Central Academy in an 85-20 victory by Weddington.

She scored 25 points, pulled down 12 rebounds, handed out 11 assists and had 10 steals in her team’s victory.
