RALEIGH— The times have been established for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state men’s soccer championship, set for Saturday, November 17.

All four classifications will hold their championship match at Dail Soccer Field on the campus of North Carolina State University.

The championships will start with Cary Green Hope (23-2) going against Charlotte Myers Park (20-3) in a rematch of last year’s 4-A final. Kickoff will be 11:05 a.m.

The 1-A final will send Southwest Onslow (13-2-2) against Lake Norman Charter (19-3-1), with a 2:05 start.  Another Onslow County entry, Jacksonville, will play in the 3-A title match at 5:05 p.m. as the Cardinals (25-1) face Hickory (27-1).

The 2-A championship will start at 8:05 pm with Waxhaw Cuthbertson (22-3-2) playing the winner of a Wednesday night match which was delayed by inclement weather, with Carrboro (18-6-3) playing Jordan-Matthews (20-4-1), with the winner advancing to the state championship.

 All four championships will be televised live by Time Warner Cable.

Gates will open at 9:30 am for the first game.
