State 4-A Men’s Soccer Champs Will Have New Coach

CARY—The North Carolina High School Athletic Association state 4-A men’s soccer champions will have a new coach for the 2013 season.

According to a number of media reports, Michael Hoy will take over the helm of the Green Hope High School men’s soccer program. Hoy will replace Richard Huxford, who guided the Falcons to the state crown and a 24-2 mark in his only season as head coach. Green Hope also won the state championship under Andrew Chadwick in 2011.

Hoy is a former professional soccer player who has also coached in the Capitol Area Soccer League program in Raleigh.
