JACKSONVILLE– Chelsea D’Zurilla has been named the new women’s soccer head coach at Southwest Onslow High School, according to a report in the Jacksonville Daily News.
Interestingly enough, D’Zurilla is a 2008 graduate of Dixon High, which is a county rival of Southwest Onslow. She helped lead Dixon to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state championship in women’s soccer as a senior and also played volleyball and soccer there.
D’Zurilla earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also serves as an assistant coach in volleyball and women’s basketball.
