CONCORD— Chris Shinn has resigned as head football coach at Central Cabarrus High School, according to the Independent-Tribune.

Shinn, a 1995 graduate of Central Cabarrus, has been head coach there for three years. Central posted a 2-9 record during the 2011 season.
