RED SPRINGS—Red Springs High School football standout Blake Greene has finished his standout career on the high school field, but he has earned his way into a couple of elite lists in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Record Book.

In addition, Greene placed third all-time in touchdown responsibility with 151, which included 102 touchdown passes, 47 rushing scores and a pair of TDs on defense.
Chris Leak of Independence is the career leader in total offense with an amazing 16,590 yards and also was responsible for 216 touchdowns during his high school career, from 1999 through the 2002 season.
Greene’s total of 63 TDs in touchdown responsibility during the 2012 season is the fourth best single-season mark in that category.
