2007: 4-A: Adam Stephenson (Rose) won two-man playoff over Nik Peterson (Providence) with birdie on first playoff hole; 3-A: Harold Varner (Forestview) won two-man playoff over Drew Page (Tuscola) on third playoff hole; Hickory took team title based on fifth player’s score over two days; 1-A: with three-way tie for first, John Weldon (East Surry) won three-man playoff over Tommy Gibson (East Surry) and Justin Goforth (West Montgomery) on first playoff hole; Weldon had birdie, Gibson par and Goforth a bogey.

2008: 3-A: Harold Varner (Gastonia Forestview) won two-man playoff over Daniel Claytor (Northern Nash) with par on second playoff hole for second place; 1-A: Andrew Bateman (Andrews) won two-man playoff over David Kostval (Topsail) with birdie on third playoff hole for second place; Joe Ondish (Topsail) won two-man playoff over Ethan Grimmer (East Surry) with birdie on second playoff hole for fourth place.

2009: 4-A: Quent Mather (Charlotte Myers Park) won two-man playoff over Harrison Ashworth (Fuquay-Varina) with birdie on second playoff hole for second place; 3-A: Robert Register (Burlington Williams) won four-man playoff for second place with eagle on second playoff hole; James Chapman (Gastonia Forestview) was second in playoff, Trey White (Hickory) third and Ryan Yarbrough (Wilson Fike) fourth; Chapman had birdie and White par on sixth playoff hole, Yarbrough had par but the other three birdies on first playoff hole to drop to fourth in playoff.

2010: 3-A: Northern Guilford won playoff on card based on scores of fifth golfer with Gastonia Forestview for first place. 1-A: Ethan Sasser (West Montgomery) won playoff with Thomas Buchanan (Mitchell) with par on first playoff hole for third place.

2011: 4-A: Ben Griffin (East Chapel Hill) won playoff with Andrew Decker (Greenville Rose) with par on second playoff hole for first place; Carter Jenkins (Leesville Road) won playoff with Philip Oweida (Charlotte Myers Park) and Grayson Murray (Leesville Road) with par on first playoff hole for fourth place. 1-A: Colyn Petty (Swain County) won playoff with William Whitacre (Bishop McGinnis) with par on first playoff hole for fourth place.

2015: 2-A: Wilkes Central defeated South Stokes on first hole of playoff for second place. 1-A: Nick Gunnell (Starmount) won five-way playoff for fourth place.

2016: 2A: Justin Emmons from Providence Grove used a bogey-free 4-under par 68 on day two to force a playoff with day one leader Logan McNeely from Newton-Conover who recorded a 3-over 75 on day two. Emmons won the playoff on the first hold with a par.

2018: 4A: A.J. Beechler from Pinecrest shot 70 in the final round to force a playoff with Broughton’s Peter Fountain. Beechler won the playoff with a par on the first playoff hole, the 18th at Pinehurst No. 6 completing back-to-back titles.

2021: 1A: Community School of Davidson defeated East Surry by two shots in a one-hole team playoff on the par 4 1st hole at Foxfire’s Red Fox Course. CSD shot 15 on the 365 yard hole while East Surry’s best four carded 17.

2022: 3A: Four players tied for first after 36-holes at +5. Nick Norman (Forestview), Davis DeLille (High Point Central), Gavin Drose (Cape Fear) & Luke Mosely (J.H. Rose) entered a sudden-death playoff for the Individual Championship. Mosely & Norman recorded pars on the 18th hole in the first tie-breaker with Drose bogeying and DeLille triple bogeying. Mosley & Norman played 18 again as Mosely birdied and Norman sunk a par putt to give Mosley J.H. Rose’s first individual champion.

2024: 2A: Seaforth defeated Pine Lake Prep on the second playoff hole. Both teams made four pars on the first playoff hole and Seaforth beat Pine Lake Prep by two shots on the second hole.

2025: 3A: Stuart Cramer beat Terry Sanford on the second playoff hole. 1A: Slater Slate from South Stokes beat Sam Caraher from Cornerstone Charter on the first playoff hole.
