GREENSBORO—The Page High School Athletic Booster Club and Donnie Stowe recently earned some national recognition.

       Stowe's graphic work won gold, silver and bronze medals in the National High School Sports Publication Awards contest for 2013.

       Stowe is a Page graduate whose father was a coach and assistant principal at the school in the late 1950’s.

       The gold-medal program was dedicated to the memory of Page student Dylan Price and was sold at the Page-Grimsley football game to raise money for Dylan’s favorite charity. The silver-medal program was from the homecoming game and featured cover art by Page student Sydney Huffman.

       The bronze-medal program, sponsored by Moe’s Southwest Grill, featured a cover photo (by Page parent Anita Bachmann) of students in a baby-powder cloud of victory at the Page-Grimsley game.
