OCRACOKE—Ocracoke High School, one of the smallest member schools in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, reports an exciting development on the school’s campus on Ocracoke Island.
The school notes that progress is being made on building Ocracoke’s first on-campus athletic field, which will be used for baseball and will also double as the site for Ocracoke home games for soccer.
School officials noted, “We are grateful to Cape Hatteras High School for letting us use their field for our home games, but we can’t wait to host games on Ocracoke Island.”
Congratulations to Ocracoke!
