SPENCER–Brian Lytton has been named the new women’s basketball coach at North Rowan High School, according to the Salisbury Post.

Lytton, 41, is the son of long-time college coach Jack Lytton, who coached at Lees-McRae and Mars Hill for many years and also served as basketball coach and athletic director at West Rowan.

Among the coaching stops for the new North Rowan coach have been Highlands, North Iredell, East Lincoln and Gray Stone Day.

Lytton and his wife Sandy Robertson will also coach the North Rowan volleyball team this fall.
