LEJEUNE—Seneca Hill has been selected as the new Lejeune High School men’s basketball coach, according to a report in the Jacksonville Daily News.
Hill, age 35, played high school basketball at White Oak High under coach Greg Grantham and graduated from there in 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from Shaw University in 2002.
He has served as an assistant coach at White Oak and for the last two years was an assistant at Lejeune under then head coach Joey Mallot, who has stepped down. Hill works as a special education teacher at an area elementary school.
The Devilpups posted a 3-19 record a year ago.
