WILMINGTON— Aaron Livengood has been elevated to the head baseball position at Laney High School, according to the Wilmington Star-News.
Livengood has been an assistant baseball coach at Laney for the last nine years under head coach Vern Baker. He has been serving as a teacher and athletic director at Trask Middle School in Wilmington.
The Laney baseball team won the NCHSAA state 4-A baseball crown back in 2010 and advanced to the second round in postseason play this spring.
