Green Hope Women’s Basketball Coach Steps Down

     CARY—Green Hope High School head women’s basketball coach Mike Robinson has announced that he is stepping down from that coaching position, according to a report in the Raleigh News and Observer.

     Robinson has coached for 25 years and has been led the Green Hope women’s program for six years, including a 31-1 mark in 2009-10 and a runner-up finish in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4-A tournament. Green Hope compiled a 137-33 mark in his six seasons at the helm.

     Robinson coached baseball at Eastern Alamance for 13 years and has also coached softball at Green Hope.  He plans to continue to coach the men’s golf team.
