Glenn Softball Player Earns Spots In Record Book

KERNERSVILLE—Tracy Haynes of Glenn High School has completed an excellent career in softball and has earned a couple of spots in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Record Book.

Haynes finished her career with a batting average of .536, and one of her single-season marks was a whopping .605, which she achieved as a junior with 46 hits in 76 at bats.

Her 160 career hits also earned a performance listing. Earlier she had made the record book with two home runs in the same inning in a victory over High Point Central in April.

Congratulations to Tracy Haynes and our thanks to coach Gary Payne for providing the documentation.
