KERNERSVILLE—Glenn High School has elevated Antwon Stevenson go its head football coaching position.
Stevenson has been an assistant coach for all 13 years that he has taught at Glenn. A native of High Point, Stevenson will be replacing Aldine Payne, who resigned in December because of health issues.
A native of High Point, Stevenson is a graduate of High Point Central who went on to play football at Elon, from which he graduated with a business degree in 2003.
Stevenson is also currently Glenn’s indoor and outdoor track coach. The 36-year-old teaches in the business department at Glenn.
The Bobcats were 3-8 last fall.
