BURLINGTON— High school sports throughout the state of North Carolina are very good because of so many dedicated people.
It takes great volunteers like Dr. Charles Kernodle Jr., who has been walking the sidelines at Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington for more than 60 years.
He’ll turn 97 in about a month and he’s still going strong.
