Washington County High School was a recipient of the education-based athletics for the 2019-2020 school year. Grant funds were used to purchase items such as a blood pressure monitor, adult/child CPR training shields, and two AED machines. Additionally, Washington County was able to target proper hydration awareness by purchasing an ice maker, hydration stations, and a hydrator for student-athletes. These upgrades have allowed the enhancement of student-athlete health and wellness, team building, and record keeping skills.
