GIBSONVILLE— Eastern Guilford High School has announced the hiring of Cherokee offensive coordinator David Hines as its new head football coach, according to the Greensboro News and Record.
Hines is a graduate of North Davidson High School. He has also served as the head coach of Southside High School in Chocowinity for three seasons, coaching there from 2007 to ’09.
Scott Loosemore resigned as Eastern Guilford’s football coach in December after coaching the Wildcats for six seasons. Eastern went 6-6 during the 2011 season and reached the first round of the playoffs.
