            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Wakefield quarterback Connor Mitch had another terrific performance throwing the football in a 56-20 victory over Raleigh Sanderson. Mitch completed 30 of 43 passes for 461 yards and seven touchdowns in the victory, the third time that Mitch has thrown seven touchdown passes in a single game during his career.
