            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Raekwon Miller poured in 48 points to lead his McDowell Titans to a 111-104 six-overtime victory over visiting Ragsdale in the opening round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association men's basketball playoffs. Miller had eight three-pointers for the Titans.  The game was knotted at 66-all at the end of regulation.
