On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Chris Tucker of Central Cabarrus has an unbelievable round of golf in a dual match against A.L. Brown of Kannapolis. In a match on the par-72, 6,220-yard course at Cabarrus Country Club, Tucker fired an amazing 10-under par 62, with nine-hole totals of 31-31. He had eight birdies and an eagle in his amazing round.
