On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Sarah Winslow of Fike High School in Wilson scored seven goals in a 10-2 women’s soccer victory over Greensboro Smith. Winslow went on to score 72 goals during that season and had an NCHSAA record 76 goals during the 2006 campaign.
