COACH RETURNING TO DUTIES AT CLYDE ERWIN
ASHEVILLE—Terry Gossett is back on the job as the Clyde Erwin High School women’s varsity basketball coach after some health issues during the winter, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.
He was hospitalized for more than a month in February due to complications from surgery.
Gossett has previously coached at both East Henderson and Franklin. He began his most recent tenure at Erwin in 2007.
Erwin posted a 14-13 record last season, losing in the opening round of the NCHSAA state 3-A playoffs.
