CLAYTON— Gary Clark of Clayton High School recently had a night to remember on the basketball floor, as he recorded one of the rarities in the sport – a quadruple double.
Clark led Clayton to a 67-46 victory over West Johnston, and according to the Raleigh News and Observer recorded a quadruple double in the process.
The 6-7, 215-pounder, who has committed to Cincinnati, scored 22 points, grabed 21 rebounds, blocked a whopping 15 shots and had 10 assists.
Congratulations to Gary Clark—it’s the first quadruple double verified for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association men’s basketball record book.
