CHAPEL HILL— Steve Riegler has been named as the new swimming coach for both the men’s and women’s programs at Chapel Hill High School, according to various media reports.

Riegler, who is currently the aquatics director at the Triangle Sportsplex, has a wealth of experience in swimming. He has served as an assistant coach at the college level for four different schools and is the former head coach at Xavier.

He is a 1999 graduate of Toledo, where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees and excelled in the backstroke as a swimmer at Toledo. He began his coaching career at Northern Illinois University.
