The North Carolina High School Athletic Association welcomes each of you to the 2023 Student Leadership Conference (SLC)! This year's theme: Life Beyond Sports!!
Welcome to The North Carolina High School Athletic Association 2023 Student Leadership Conference (SLC)! Where we gather to empower and equip our future leaders with the tools they need to succeed. This year's theme is "Life Beyond Sports," and we are excited to explore the many opportunities and challenges that await us outside the world of athletics.
As young leaders, we have been trained to excel in competition and strive for victory on the field. However, we must also prepare ourselves for the journey beyond our athletic careers. Whether we pursue higher education, entrepreneurship, or any other path, we must embrace the same level of determination and passion that has fueled our success in sports.
During this conference, we will hear from inspirational speakers who have made the transition from athlete to leader, and we will learn from experts in various fields about the skills and mindsets required for success in the real world. Through workshops, networking, and interactive activities, we will explore the many avenues available to us and develop a roadmap for our future endeavors.
We are confident that this conference will leave us better equipped to take on the challenges of life beyond sports and to continue making a positive impact on our communities. Thank you for joining us, and let us make the most of this opportunity to grow, learn, and lead.

REMINDER: In lieu of a registration fee, we ask that each participant bring at least two canned goods or non-perishable food items to contribute to a NC Food Bank!
