ROANOKE RAPIDS–Tom Davis, the former principal at Chaloner Middle School, has taken over as athletic director at Roanoke Rapids High School, according to a report in the Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald.

    Davis is returning to Roanoke Rapids after serving as an assistant principal there from 2002-2009 before moving to the middle school.

    He is replacing former athletic director Todd Seymour.

     According to the newspaper Davis said, “I always enjoyed athletics, so when this opportunity came up I decided to go for it.” Davis will also serve as the district director of student services along with his duties as athletic director.
