North Carolina High School Athletic Association assistant commissioner Carolyn Shannonhouse was honored recently at the NCHSAA state tennis championships.

      Shannonhouse was surprised when the officials honored her at her last tennis championship before her retirement.

      Carolyn began work at the NCHSAA back in 1986 after a successful coaching career and is a member of the NCHSAA Hall of Fame.
