Football Coach Adds Baseball To Ledford Duties

LEDFORD—Head football coach Chris Adams of Ledford has added another head coaching position, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Adams will also be the head baseball coach at Ledford for the upcoming season.  He was Ledford’s head baseball coach from 2001 to 2008 but left coaching to become an assistant principal. He served as assistant principal at Central Davidson for two years but then returned to Ledford as the head football coach in 2010.

Adams is a 1993 graduate of High Point Central High School and graduated from High Point University in 1997. He later earned his master’s degree at HPU.

He has had previous coaching stints at High Point Central and at Central Davidson.

Adams noted that he already has secured the services of former Ledford player David Thomas as an assistant baseball coach. Thomas played at Catawba College before going into professional baseball.
