Jimmy Fletcher will be the new athletic director at West Brunswick High School, according to a release from Brunswick County Schools and a report in the Wilmington Star-News.

Fletcher has been the head football coach and guidance counselor at the school for the past 10 years. He will replace John Floyd, who had announced his retirement earlier. His resignation is effective March 1.

Fletcher will no longer coach football at West Brunswick with his duties as athletic director, according to information from the Brunswick County schools.
