Jones Senior High School was a recipient of the education-based athletics grant for the 2019-2020 school year. Grant funds were used to pay for all head coaches to obtain their Accredited Interscholastic Certification (AIC) and/or Certified Interscholastic Certification (CIC) through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The goal of these certifications was to grow and develop coaches to better improve the life of their student-athletes amid the pandemic, and beyond. In the 2020-2021 school year, Jones Senior High School received their Level 3 accreditation from the NFHS.
