            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Kyle Pittman of Wilson Hunt hit two grand slams in one inning in a high school baseball game against Southern Nash. Hunt won the game by a 24-1 count.

 

April 13, 2011

          On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Union Pines High School blasted a NCHSAA baseball record 11 home runs against East Montgomery. East Montgomery added two of its own for a two-team total of 13. That is also an NCHSAA record for combined homeruns in a game by two teams. Union Pines won 16-9.
