GREENSBORO— Coaching staffs are set for the North Carolina Coaches’ Association’s annual East-West high school all-star games this July.
In football, Jimmy Fletcher of West Brunswick will be the head coach for the East squad. He will be assisted by Paul Moore of Hertford, Brian Paschal of D.H. Conley, Joey Price of Wallace-Rose Hill, Manteo’s Eddie Twyne and Princeton’s Russell Williamson.
The West all-star team will be headed by Mike Sexton of Clyde Erwin. Assistant coaches for the West in football will be Michael Bradley of North Mecklenburg, Darrell Brewer of Avery, Chris Causey of Western Guilford, Lincolnton’s Craig Kiser and East Davidson’s Bryan Lingerfelt.
Head coach of the East team in men’s basketball is Mike Rotolo of Southern Vance, assisted by Dwight Taylor of Hunt. Brad Levine of East Rutherford will lead the way for the West team, assisted by Mike Gurley of West Rowan.
In women’s basketball, the East staff will include Mike Ratley of St. Pauls as head coach and Terri Cash of Nash Central as the assistant. The West will be led by Ashe County’s Laura Foster as head coach and High Point Central’s Terry Allmon as the assistant.
Cary’s Mike Dunphy will be the head coach of the East all-stars in men’s soccer, going against the West team coached by Chad Hench of Central Davidson.
Buddy Carroll of Jacksonville White Oak will be the head coach for the East team in women’s soccer while Steve Stith of Mooresville will lead the West squad.
