RALEIGH—Broughton High School has named its new athletic director, according to various media reports including HighschoolOT.com.
The school has tapped Aaron Minger as the new athletic director to replace the veteran Jack Spain, who retires at the end of August.
Minger, a certified athletic trainer, has been the athletic trainer at Broughton for several years.
Spain has also been very involved with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, helping to host and direct a number of state championships held at Wake County venues.
