KERNERSVILLE—George Repass, the principal of Bishop McGuinness High School, has died, according to several media accounts including the Winston-Salem Journal.

     The school posted a statement on its website on Monday, including the following:

     "It is with deep regret that we inform you of the sudden death of Mr. (George) Repass. His untimely passing is a deep shock to the entire school community but our faith is a source of comfort for us at this difficult time.“

     Counselors were available at the school on Monday.
