Since the pandemic in March of 2020, North Carolina has led the nation in online NFHS Learn, NIAAA Leadership Training Courses, and Webinars. With only 436 schools, North Carolina has almost doubled the numbers of other states around the nation with three times the number of schools and coaches (e.g., California, 1609 Schools, Illinois, 818, Ohio, 817 schools). This is a streak that we want to continue to pursue.

NIAAA Online Courses & Webinars
Now available in the NIAAA Classroom is an interactive online course option you can take on your own time, at your own pace, and wherever you want. These four-hour courses include a digital manual, an interactive teaching style, instructional videos, and more to help make learning easy and convenient. NIAAA Webinar Classes
To meet the needs of individuals who desire to enhance their knowledge of interscholastic athletic administration and cannot attend the national or state conference, the NIAAA seasonally offers selected courses in a webinar format. Our webinars provide an opportunity to take classes from the comforts of the office or home and receive the same quality instruction, interaction, and networking opportunities as in a classroom setting. Each webinar costs $125 for NCADA/NIAAA Dual members. The course fee includes the digital course manual* and an acknowledgment of course completion.
Each course is taught by trained and experienced faculty. Courses consist of two 120-minute sessions conducted on two consecutive or one four-hour Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings.
NFHS Learn Center for Administrators, Coaches, and Students
“The goal of the new NFHS National Coach Credential is to provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities for the interscholastic coach community and beyond,” said Dan Schuster, NFHS director of educational services. “The more coaches who get involved in the student-centered curriculum at the NFHS Learning Center, a nationally accredited institution, the better equipped and prepared they will be to provide students the best experiences in our programs.”
The NFHS Learning Center, which has delivered more than 15 million courses since its inception in 2007, recently earned national accreditation from Cognia, which recognizes schools and other education service providers that meet rigorous standards that focus on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation that meets the needs of learners, and effective leadership.
