Welcome to the web site specifically dedicated to the First Responders who serve at NCHSAA member schools.
First Responders (FR) will find educational requirements which are taken directly from NCAC 16 06E .0206 , formally known as State Board of Education Policy ATHL-000. The First Responder Compliance Form is also conveniently located on the web page. Any individual currently serving as a FR at a NCHSAA member school should complete the First Responder Compliance Form straightaway. In the future an individual who serves as a FR at a NCHSAA member school is required to complete the First Responder Compliance Form prior to assuming their duties. The First Responder Compliance Form you complete will better enable the LEA in which you are employed to monitor compliance with NCAC Rule 16 06E .0206 (e). NOTE: The First Responder Compliance Form is required to be updated annually or as your staff development (SD)/Continuing Education (CE) is completed. All SD/CE must be maintained without lapse for an individual to remain in good standing as outlined in the educational requirements and serve as a FR throughout the year.
