Wells Fargo Cup Winners Recognized

 

         CHAPEL HILL– The winners of the 2013-14 Wells Fargo Cup awards were recognized on Saturday night at Kenan Stadium during a halftime ceremony.

         The ceremony was part of the recognition of the 30th annual NCHSAA Day when the University of North Carolina hosted Georgia Tech in a football game at Kenan.

         The winners of the Wells Fargo Cup for the 2013-14 academic year, symbolic of the best overall interscholastic sports programs in the state, were honored. The winners include Kernersville Bishop McGuinness in the 1-A classification, Carrboro among 2-A schools, Waxhaw Marvin Ridge in the 3-A classification, and Green Hope High School of Cary in the 4-A class.
