CHARLOTTE— Vance High School head basketball coach Will Robinson recently achieved a big coaching milestone, according to The Charlotte Observer.
The 58-year-old head coach recently earned his 500th career coaching victory in a victory over Independence. He has earned 150 of those victories at Vance. His team made it to the NCHSAA state 4-A championship game in 2007, where it lost to Wilmington New Hanover 39-35.
After hitting that milestone, Robinson’s career record was an outstanding 500-119.
