Parkland Football Coach Steps Down

WINSTON-SALEM— Dee Bell, who has been the head football coach at Parkland High School for the last 14 seasons, has resigned, according to reports in the Winston-Salem Journal.

Bell helped guide Parkland to a North Carolina High School Athletic Association state football championship, after taking over the program in 1999 after it had recorded just one winning season in the seven previous years.
