CHARLOTTE— West Charlotte High School has named a new principal for the 2012-13 academic year.
John Wall Jr., will take over the helm at West Charlotte, according to reports in the Charlotte Observer. He was principal last year at Southeast Raleigh. Prior to his year at Southeast Raleigh, he had been a principal at the middle school level at a couple of Wake County schools.
Wall is a native of Queens, N.Y., and graduated from North Carolina Central University in 1987. He earned his master’s at North Carolina State University.
Former principal Shelton Jefferies left West Charlotte to take a position in Union County.
