The North Carolina High School Athletic Association, in conjunction with the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA), is rolling out a new feature that will be used for the first time during the 2014 NCHSAA women’s golf championships.
The NCHSAA will offer “live scoring” for its participants in the 1-A/2-A, 3-A and 4-A golf championships. Scores will be provided as players make the turn and updated at that point in this initial stage, rather than hole-by-hole, but it will give followers of the state championships a chance to keep up with a round in progress. Full card scoring for each participant will also be available.
This system is also complete sortable, so one can look at team scores, individual scores, or even individual scorecards as they are updated.
TPP® scoring, a USGA® product, is provided by the CGA, which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas. For more information on the CGA visit www.carolinasgolf.org.
