CHAPEL HILL— The University of North Carolina will host two sessions of rowing camps this upcoming summer, open to any and all athletes who are interested to attend. No prior experience in the sport of rowing is required, and sessions will cater to all skill levels.
Regardless of experience or skill level, the camp is designed to elevate a student-athlete’s fundamental understanding of the sport. Beginners will receive a well-rounded introduction to the sport of rowing while athletes with previous experience have the opportunity to advance their technique and fitness. Camp sessions will also include coxswain focused instruction, nutritional seminars and strength and conditioning.
Women’s rowing is one of the fastest growing sports among collegiate athletics.
Sessions are scheduled from July 6-11 or from July 13-18. For more information, the camp director Emily Caflisch is available by email at Carolina.hscamps.info@gmail.com or by calling 608-395-5729.
