On this day in history in the NCHSAA, the NCHSAA announced that assistant commissioner and supervisor of officials Mark Dreibelbis had been named to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) basketball rules committee, representing Section 3. He also was serving on the NFHS Football Rules Committee, the NFHS/NCAA Football Advisory Committee, and was chairperson of the NFHS Football Equipment sub-committee.
