            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Kinston High School hit an amazing 45 out of 47 free throws in a 97-74 men’s basketball victory over Washington.

            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Apex defeated Panther Creek 74-61 in a men’s basketball game that had started the week before. Panther Creek had led 20-14 in the second quarter before Nubian Spann of Panther Creek broke away for a dunk that shattered the backboard and caused the game to be suspended and finished almost a week later.  T.J. Evans led Apex with 37 points.
