            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, the defending champions in both singles and doubles won titles again in the NCHSAA state 1-A women's tennis championships at the Cary Tennis Center. Kasey Mabe of North Stokes won the singles title while Jeanne-Marie LaBorde and Jessica Eblen of Hendersonville captured the doubles championship.
